A Summary of Weapons type
Written and Revised by Playy
V 1.0.0

This essay will discuss a general weapon type and use to fit your needs. This essay will be updated often due to skill and weapon damage changes.

Speed vs. Damage: Often fats, low damaging weapons are underestimated. Using a weapon such as a katana, quarter staff, or kyrss will hit very quickly depending on your character's dex. These fast weapons will disrupt spells, take stamina, and swing while running and chasing your opponent. While these weapons are very useful for all types of battles, many people prefer heavy damage 2 handed weapons. These weapons are very slow but can kill your opponent in a few good hits. Weapons such as a War Hammer, halberd, or long spear are very good at killing your enemy quickly, while leaving yourself open to take large amounts of damage. If you are using a two handed weapons rather than a one handed and a shield, you will need to heal yourself often and be prepared to run until your life regenerates.

PvP: For PvP fighting the weapon type you use will depend on your opponent's skills, Bringing both a fast and slow weapons will help you a great deal in battle. If you are fighting a mage you will want to use a fast weapon to disrupt their spells. For a fencer of mager using a fast weapons, you will want to try both types of weapons and find which weapon will damage them more in a given amount of time. For melee fighting against a swordsman with a light weapons, you will want to use a heavily damaging weapon to keep their stamina down and their swings slow.

PvM: For fighting Player vs Monster, you will want to use a two handed or one handed weapons depending on your parrying skill and the type of monster you are fighting, if you are fighting a monster that will be able to kill you in only a few hits, you will want to use parrying skill and be able to keep yourself healed and damage the monster at the same time.
