You will also need 75+ magery to gate the NPC's to their destination. To escort NPC's you will need to search through spawning areas and simply tell them "I will take thee". Escorting NPC's: Escorting NPC's is one of the most profitable professions in Ultima. Escorting NPC's is mostly fee, you will need a few reagents and runes, but other than that it wont cost you anything. It is fairly easy and will make money very fast. Escorting NPC's is very safe and private, other than gating an NPC to a dungeon, you will not be in any danger of monsters. Once you have found an NPC and have them following you, ask them were their destination is, find your rune, and gate them. You will need to step in the gate so they will follow you, you will receive payment, and step back in your gate. Killing NPC's: By killing NPC's you will get
a negative title and turn grey to other players. Killing NPC's is not terrible
profitable, but can often be fun. MAny people enjoy killing NPC's over
monster because they are often faster and smarter than most monsters. In
Felucia you can attack any NPC, but you will turn grey and will be vulnerable
to other players and town guards. In Trammel, you can only attack NPC's
in certain areas, and will turn grey to other player, but you will not
be attackable. Killing NPC's in Trammel is fairly safe and can earn decent
money.
